

GOLF COURSE ARCHITECT
TREY KEMP, ASGCA
Trey, the owner and lead golf course architect for Kemp Golf Course Design has a very well-rounded background in golf. His background includes over 18 years of experience working as a Golf Course Architect on over 100 projects across the United States.

Prior to starting Kemp Golf Course Design, Trey was the lead Golf Course Architect for one of the nation's premier planning and design firms, Kimley-Horn and before that he worked with two other golf course design firms.
​
Trey got his start working as a Design Associate for Jacobson Golf Course Design in Libertyville, Illinois. There he was involved with all phases of the design process on new construction and renovation projects across the country. After three years with Jacobson Golf Course Design, Trey became the Senior Golf Course Architect for Colligan Golf Design based in Arlington, Texas. There he was involved in many award-winning renovation and restoration projects over 13 years.

Trey also has 3-plus years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at Onion Creek Club in Austin, Texas and experience working on the Maintenance Crew at Dallas National Golf Club while in graduate school.
